Corruption and Red-Tape are byproducts of modern life style.

India is progressing in all fronts and it is being predicted that India is going to be one of the economic superpowers in the years to come. There is no doubt about it because India is blessed with natural resources and human resources. But the questions remain unanswered are whether poverty would be eradicated? Whether inequalities among various sections of people would be reduced if not eliminated?

Two giant problems facing India and other developing countries are Corruption and Red- Tape. These two problems are the byproducts of modern life style.Consumerism are hallmark of modern life style. The entire development nation is centered around consumerism. From wake up to sleep we are bombarded with all sorts of advertisements enticing us in to consumerism.

Government is run by the bureaucracy.Bureaucracy interferes and influences all walks of public life. Social and economic life of peoples depends of efficacy of bureaucracy.Remuneration and perks of government servants doesn't match with present modern lifestyles and thus they indulge in corrupt practices. Fruits of development are not reaching deserved people. Unless these two hurdles are removed, Inclusive development is not possible and our dream of modern India remains unfulfilled.
